We'll be taking a break from Tuesday practices for the next couple of months.  Check for a resumption of it on after the New Year.

Well done to all.  Next up is the Burton Open.  All interested club members should register and speak with a coach about coaching at the tourament.

Clint also notes that there some outstanding Competition Reports from D & Under held at Chandler on 9/16.  We are expecting those post haste.  You know who you are. 

All practices will be happening this week.  Again, Diana is not there on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

This past weekend was the referee seminar and competition.  A big thanks to everyone who attended the seminar and  then came and helped out on Sunday.  I hope you were able to find something from the seminar and apply it at the competition.  Any of the aspiring referees are welcome to contact Clint for assistance in improving their refereeing and asking about more opportunities in the region to work and improve.

Congratulations to all the club members who came out and competed, many for the first time.  Hopefully it was a good experience and will lead to many more.

The next competition on the Club schedule is the Burton Open at Northwestern University on October 6.  Please note that club members are free to attend the College of Lake County Open next weekend on their own. 

Monday's practice will be as usual.  Please note that Clint is not available for lessons on Mondays this fall.

Tuesday will be the study session - bring your questions from the study guide and your rulebooks and we'll make it all clear for each other.

Wednesday will be the first Intro class of the season.  We look forward to meeting the new class and introducing them to the sport.

Thursday will be as usual, however Diana will not be in attendance as she starts a community outreach program.

The referee seminar runs on Saturday with the Competition on Sunday.  We're still looking for volunteers to help set-up and tear down.  The more the merrier.
